About the Role
We're looking for a Geologist/Hydrogeologist to join our team of dedicated professionals in the Pacific Northwest. We are working on important environmental, transportation, solid waste, and water quality projects and are proud to have an established relationship with a range of clients, providing us the opportunity to support the communities in which we live and work. You will have flexibility to work remotely and come into the office for mentorship, project, and team collaboration. This position requires overnight travel for field work throughout the Pacific Northwest, predominantly Washington.
You Will:

Conduct field investigations, including:
- Site reconnaissance activities.
- Environmental drilling oversight.
- Groundwater and vapor probe monitoring.
- Soil, seep, and surface water sampling.

Prepare technical documentation, including:
- Well logs and tabulating field/analytical data.
- Assist with preparation of site investigation summary reports, and work plans.
- Help with Phase I ESA reports and environmental planning documents (NEPA).
- Travel up to 25% per month, with occasional periods of more frequent travel to support field investigations and monitoring probe and well installations.
You Have:
- 1 years of consulting experience or equivalent education and work background.
- Coursework or professional experience in environmental geology and hydrogeology.
- Familiarity with field sampling equipment.
- Experience with resolving field equipment issues.
- Preferred certifications: Geologist in Training, 40-hour HAZWOPER, First Aid, and CPR.
Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $75,000-$85,000.
Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
