About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Project Manager to lead a large-scale Wireless Single Carrier migration initiative for a major citywide program. This role involves coordinating the transition of 100K smartphone lines and devices across multiple agencies to a single telecom carrier.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee migration schedules, compliance trackers, and reporting frameworks
- Manage carrier relationships, agency coordination, and service order tracking
- Ensure seamless SIM porting, shipment, and activation processes
- Provide telecom subject matter expertise to resolve transition challenges
- Track project deliverables, reporting on risks, issues, and realized cost savings
- Drive KPI reporting and performance validation against contract expectations
Required Experience:
- 8 years in Telecom Project Management, preferably with large-scale wireless migration projects
- Expertise in Telecom Expense Management, contract compliance, and vendor coordination
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, ITIL, or Telecom Certifications
- Experience with ServiceNow, Req/Passport systems
- Familiarity with government procurement and contract management
