Summary: This position is primarily responsible for the assembling of molding parts according to work instructions and operating procedures.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED with experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified is preferred.
- Knowledge of adhesives and bonding experience desired.
- Prior work record indicates dependability and conscientiousness.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow general operating instructions and safety procedures under general direction.
- Experience in tow motor operation.
- Must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment.
Conditions of Employment:

- Possesses a medical history that demonstrates no allergies to glue or isopropyl alcohol.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Exposure to temperature changes, noise, fumes and mechanical, chemical, or electrical hazards.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and squat frequently.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
- Must have good body mechanics and manual dexterity.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Essential Functions:
- Performs a variety of assembly functions to include riveting, gluing, bolting, trimming, deburring holes, and drilling new holes with drill fixtures and patterns. Types of sensors in fixtures, operating fixtures safety and where to find work instructions.
- Demonstrates ability to use common hand and pneumatic tools and measuring instruments applicable to trade. This includes but is not limited to using Rivet Guns, Drills, Torque Wrenches, and Sanders.
- Know how to use a scanner, band parts and check parts that require SPC.
- Operates torque wrenches and understands torque specifications.
- Ensures proper use of hardware brackets and where to find tools.
- Mixing and application of filler, surface classifications, inspection techniques and common issues. Different types of sandpaper, pneumatic sander use, correct glue bead size and metton repair.
- Notifies supervisor or Team Lead of any quality or safety issues.
- Must understand the FIFO (First In-First Out) System.
- Reviews and understands quality alerts and work instructions prior to assembly.
- Inspects production parts for flaws and identifying quality alerts.
- Identifies variations in parts by cross-referencing part numbers, thus ensuring that appropriate work is performed.
- Maintains effective interpersonal working relationships and functions as a team member.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Summary: This position is primarily responsible for leading production employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment: assists in work, insure policies and procedures are followed through. Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds or more.

- Assist with successful transition of new products and technology into the production arena
- Insure correct procedures are followed with manufacturing work instructions.
- Assist with evaluating and solving production problems.
- Must excel at working in a team environment.
- This position requires that the person be a highly organized individual, who is self-motivated, and can work independently.
- Must have very strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills, including group presentations.
- This position requires that the person be a member of the Emergency Response Team and as such will be responsible to notify their supervisor/manager in the event of or if notified of a safety/environmental issue including but not limited to fire, accidental spill, or other environmental/safety issue.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and or priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Ensures effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development.
- Maintains effective interpersonal working relationships and functions as a team member.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
