Job Description – Oil & Gas Environmental, Security and Safety Consultant for Frac/Drillout/Work Over
Paramount Energy Consulting Group, LLC continues to experience significant growth, and as a result we are searching for an experienced Safety Professional for our new projects in West Virginia and surrounding areas.
Job Type: Full-Time, 60 hours per week. Travel to and from multiple job site locations.
Job Duties:
The Safety Inspector – Oil & Gas Projects. This individual will be responsible for insuring OSHA, Company and Client standards are being strictly enforced on all job sites, as well as Company work locations. Will assist in establishment and communication of Safety policies & Procedures, conduct job site inspections, investigate incidents & accidents as well as conducting site safety training, including toolbox talks.
- Perform regular site visits of active projects in WV to ensure compliance with the
- Develops and reviews the Job Safety Analysis (JSA’s), Task Hazard Analysis (THA’s), Pre-Job Briefings as directed and/or needed.
- Perform Incident/Accident Investigations to Company and Client standards.
- Provides on-site safety guidance for field employees.
- Responsible for conducting Accident & Incident Investigations.
- Works as a team member with project management, site supervisor, subcontractors and other personnel to ensure cooperation and adherence with safety inspections, corrections and compliance.
- Performs primarily self-directed in area of responsibility.
- Proactively support and/or leads H&S initiatives that support the business and the organization's themes and corporate strategies.
- Requires excellent communication and leadership capabilities. Proficiency with
Microsoft Office also required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or another related field, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction industry, general industry, oil, gas and/or power plant facilities.
- Experienced in working on Oil & Gas projects with main focus on Frac/Drill Out/Work Over operations
- Familiarity with applicable federal, state and / or provincial occupational health and safety legislation, regulations and codes.
- Knowledge of any potential or actual danger to health or safety at the Work Site.
- Competence in hazard assessments, conducting investigations and use of investigation tools (e.g. Cause/ Effect, TapRoot®, Root Cause Analysis, etc.).
- Competence in conducting Health and Safety Program Audits.
- Specifically trained in and / or equivalent experience with one or more of the following CHST, ASP, GSP, OSHA 10 Hour or OSHA 30 Hour.
- Experience in Earth Moving operations.
- Ability Travel to and from multiple job site locations.
Certifications:
- Must hold at least an OSHA 30 Hour certification.
