We are currently looking to hire two experienced CG FX Artists to work on a theatrical animated feature.
Responsibilities
Minimum: $2900/45hr week ($61.06/hour)
Maximim: $3400/45hr week ($72.58/hour)

Responsibilities
- Create stylized/procedural water, dust FX, earth/building destruction and light crowd work
- Work efficiently within the confines of available resources, show structure and schedules as defined by production management.
- Interpret and transform abstract ideas into compelling effects
- Work with production management to prioritize tasks
- Keep supervisors informed of progress, changes, roadblocks, and other critical issues
- A minimum of 4 years' experience as a FX Artis
- Advanced knowledge of Houdini required
- A strong aesthetic eye for effects performance as it relates to storytelling
- Working knowledge of Blender is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills

- Weekly rates are guaranteed and include one hour of OT at time and a half into each day.The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
