Ideal candidate will play a vital role on the Banquets Team by ensuring all meetings and events are correctly set-up to guarantee a memorable experience for Members, families, and guests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to our guests in all types of banquet and catering functions, including setting and clearing of dining tables and buffets
- Set tables in assigned area according to BEO requirements
- Serve meals, coffee breaks, receptions, other special functions, as assigned
- Inform guests about the menu, ingredients and cooking methods for the items served
- Keep all workstations clean during service
- Clean all glassware, condiments, silverware and inspect china for imperfections
- Assist in set-up/break down of tables and equipment
- Complete all assigned side work
- Each associate is expected to complete, within their ability, all reasonable requests by management
Job Requirements:
- Previous Banquet experience (6 months, preferred)
- May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- The position requires mobility. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, kneel, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be fluent in the English language
