Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and an understanding of effective cleaning practices within the hospitality industry.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained.
• Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to uphold health and safety standards.
• Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing cleaning related items.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of housekeeping practices is advantageous.
• A commitment to providing exceptional hospitality and service to guests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift
