Paramount Pharmacy in Piscataway is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team. We are looking for a professional who can dispense medications accurately, provide excellent pharmaceutical care, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities :
Medication Dispensing : Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.Patient Counseling : Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.Controlled Substances Management : Maintain accurate records and manage controlled substances responsibly.Staff Training : Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.Collaborative Care : Work with healthcare providers to manage and improve patient care.Inventory Management : Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.Insurance Processing : Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.Customer Service : Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally.Job Requirements :
Must Have : A valid state required pharmacist licenseMust Have : Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.Preferred : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.Skills :
Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.Proficiency with pharmacy management software systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.Preferred Qualifications :
