Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated and self-starter Physical Therapist with a passion for health, wellness, and orthopedics. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in exercise prescription, skilled in manual therapy, and familiar with the psychology of pain. This role requires an individual who thrives in an independent environment, can build & manage a diverse caseload, and is passionate about helping clients achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic conditions.
- Develop and deliver workshops to groups of people with the goal of building a caseload and identifying a niche population to work with.
- Regularly engage in authentic relationship-building in the community through outreach events.
- Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions tailored to the client’s specific needs.
- Educate patients on pain management, integrating knowledge of pain psychology into treatment plans.
- Work in a cash-pay environment, providing high-quality, personalized care without the limitations of insurance constraints.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and trainers to support a multidisciplinary approach to wellness.
- Engage with the community, fostering Paramount’s brand of health and wellness through educational workshops, events, and other initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Wisconsin.
- Strong knowledge of exercise prescription and rehabilitation techniques.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques (e.g., joint mobilizations, soft tissue work, dry needling, joint manipulation).
- Understanding of pain psychology and how it affects rehabilitation and recovery.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Experience working in a cash-pay or private-pay setting is a plus but not required.
