WJZ-TV in Baltimore is seeking a dynamic, creative, self-motivated, decision-making Senior Executive Producer for our largest news daypart : Morning News! We work in a highly competitive market so our candidate will bring a desire to compete and win to your work as well.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO : Work with newsroom content leaders to grow newscasts, grow producers, and grow skills.Integrate new technology applications in this multi-media, multi-platform environment.Motivate and lead the various personalities and levels of experience.Complete research and strategize to drive the station’s brand initiatives.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS : 5 years leadership experience in a medium television market.Strong experience in all aspects of television production for this news operation.Exemplary accuracy, spelling, grammar, newscast flow and the ability to work alongside producers who have a wide variety of experience and skills.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : A proven track record with people as a leader, mentor, collaborator and teammate.Understand what it means to show up for your team and take ownership of your space – even better if you thrive in this environment!Previous experience working in a non-linear newsroom and familiarity with I-news, and Chyron graphics systems is a plus.Hiring Salary Range : $110,000.00 - 125,000.00.The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
