Requirements of Automotive Electronics Installer:
- 2 years of experience related to Automotive Electronic Installations
- Previous experience with automotive electrical components and computer systems
- Electrical experience required
- Automotive background preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities of Automotive Electronics Installer:
- Installation of Mobile Electronics and 12 Volt systems (i.e. lighting systems, car stereos, computers, emergency lighting etc.
- Responsible for the installation, de-installation, and repair of automotive electronics and accessories
- Most upfitting service is for government agencies and private fleets, a bulk of which are police vehicles
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle electrical components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
