We are looking for multiple Electronic Controls Technician to join our team in St. Joseph, MO. ASAP!
Electronic Controls Technician Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving control systems used in a manufacturing setting
- Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing PLC systems, training maintenance staff, documenting processes, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement upgrades and resolve downtime issues
- Working with components such as motors, motion systems, and electrical connection parts
- Support all aspects of electrical control systems
- Work on relays, termination blocks and sensors
- Use PC & PLC programming
- Perform electrical and electrical safety compliance checks
- Start-up, Testing, Debugging
Electronic Controls Technician Requirements:
- 2 years of experience OR 2 year Electrical Technician Degree or equivalent work experience and references
- Experience with electrical systems ranging from 24v to 480v required
- Knowledge of digital and analog I/O systems required
- Ability to read and understand Blueprints/Electrical Schematics required
- Experience Maintaining and repair production equipment preferred
- Experience with control system tools and software such as RSlinx, RSLogix 500, AB Panelview, Ignition or SCADA preferred
- Strong electrical design and troubleshooting skills
- Technical, organizational, and problem solving skills
