Qualifications of Garage Door Technicians:
- 2-3 years of commercial garage door experience required
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
- Experience with overhead doors and operators preferred
- Electrical experience preferred

Responsibilities of Garage Door Technicians:
- Responsible for repairing garage doors, door operators, replacing worn or broken door parts, installing new equipment including doors, and replacing springs
- Sell services to the customer using a good/better/best model
- Repair garage doors and operations with needed tools
- Install garage door systems, keeping safety as your top priority
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot causes of operating errors and decide accordingly
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine if further maintenance is needed
