Responsibilities of Heavy Equipment Technician:
- General Shop work servicing John Deere and other AG Equipment
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance on diesel and heavy equipment
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle
- Our diesel technicians will be responsible for all maintenance of our fleet
- As a diesel mechanic you will work in a clean safe environment
Qualifications of Heavy Equipment Technician:
- Previous experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing Heavy Equipment
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Hydraulic Experience preferred
- Electrical Experience preferred
- John Deere Experience preferred
- Dealership Experience preferred
- Ability to Operate Equipment for Testing Purposes preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 3 years of heavy equipment repair experience required
- Also searching for a mechanic assistant, technician training will be provided as well
