Job Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the compliance program by responding to compliance help desk tickets and assisting with the ongoing administration of the compliance program.
Responsibilities
· Serve as the primary contact on the compliance help desk with primary working hours from 9 am to 6 pm Pacific Time
· Support compliance monitors, audits and examinations, as requested.
· Follow existing compliance materials and job aids
· Escalate matters of non-compliance and/or recommendations for improvement to management.
· Perform other related duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
Requirements:
· Able to manage and respond to incidents in the Freshworks/similar ticketing system
· Preferred experience with Encompass LOS and Mavent
· Excellent written communication skills
· Ability to familiarize users with PRMG operational and compliance practices
· Self-motivated and dependable
· Excellent problem solving skills, persistence and follow-up
· Maintain high level of confidentiality
· Knowledge of NMLS and analysis of loan officer and branch licensing information
· Working knowledge of the residential mortgage banking “alphabet soup” of laws and regulations including but not limited to TILA, TRID, QM/non-QM, RESPA, ECOA, high cost requirements, state disclosure requirements and ECOA.
Skills:
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe
· Superior organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
· 2-5 years of residential mortgage experience
