Job Title: Business Application IT Portfolio Manager

Location: Houston, TX Onsite 4 days a week

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced IT Portfolio Manager to oversee and manage complex IT application ecosystems.

The role focuses on aligning IT initiatives with business objectives, optimizing application portfolios, and ensuring value delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute an IT application portfolio roadmap.

Collaborate with business units to align applications with organizational goals.

Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory standards, and performance metrics.

Manage budgets, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and optimize application costs.

Monitor application performance and recommend necessary improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in IT, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).

5 years managing IT application ecosystems or related experience.

Expertise in lifecycle management, enterprise architecture, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred certifications: PMP, ITIL, or similar.
