What are the responsibilities and job description for the Competitive Gymnastics Coach position at Paramount Sports Complex?
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Girls Competitive Gymnastics Coach to join our team at Paramount Sports Complex! The ideal coach will have a strong background in gymnastics and experience working with athletes of various ages and skill levels. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for teaching gymnastics techniques, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all athletes. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging gymnastics lesson plans tailored to the needs of individual athletes and groups.
- Instruct participants in proper gymnastics techniques, including tumbling, vaulting, Beam, and bars.
- Ensure the safety of all athletes during practice sessions by maintaining a safe training environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their skills and build confidence.
- Organize and lead warm-up exercises to prepare athletes for training sessions.
- Monitor athlete progress and adjust training programs as necessary to meet individual goals.
- Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among participants through group activities and competitions.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding athlete progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Must be able to work 2 nights a week from 4:30-8:30. The more nights available the better.
Skills
- 2 years experience in coaching gymnastics or related fields such as physical education or cheerleading OR 4 years experience as a gymnast.
- Ability to educate and engage children in physical activities while ensuring their safety at all times.
- Previous experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and team members.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
