Paramount Supply is a locally-owned, industrial distributor that specializes in the sale of pipe, valves, fittings, steam products and gaskets. The company was founded in 1954 and has grown to 20 locations across 7 states. We are currently seeking an inside sales specialist to assist our team with daily quotations, sales and order processing at our Portland, OR location. Qualified candidates will have experience in the PVF industry, a successful sales track record and a customer service background.
Responsibilities
- Communicating with and supporting customers to solve their problems
- Discussing features and benefits of products and services with customers
- Preparing and providing quotations
- Coordinating with outside salespeople to find new customers and support the current customer base
- Answering incoming phone calls and emails to assist customers in a timely manner
Skills
- Basic computer skills, including ability to use Word and Excel
- Knowledge of pipe, valve and fittings (PVF) industry
- Mechanical seal, pumping systems and packing product knowledge preferred, but not required
Pay depends on experience.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
