Position Overview
We seek a self-driven, highly motivated engineer with a strong background in Mold design and other plastic forming technologies. This candidate will manage the Mold development, procurement and validation and ensure that we are taking advantage of the best and most innovative technologies available to design, produce and maintain Molds.
Core Responsibilities
Developing and implementing tooling strategies to support production goals.
Manage new tool construction projects.
Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient tooling design and implementation.
Manage the tooling repair department.
Designing and developing tooling for large-scale machinery, ensuring compatibility with high-tonnage presses and other advanced equipment.
Collaborating with engineering ana production teams to optimize tooling ror large-scale, compiex machinery operations.
Monitoring tooling performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Designing and developing new tooling, fixtures, and gages to support production activities.
Creating and maintaining documentation for all tooling and processes.
Analysing data to identify areas for improvement and making recommendations.
