Billing Analyst

Overview :

The Billing Analyst will provide key contributions to CBS TV Stations billing operations ensuring accurate and efficient invoicing to all Paramount clients. This role will collaborate with cash & collections, sales, accounting, and other various internal / external teams in effort to streamline the billing process. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous diligence, and the capacity to efficiently manage various tasks within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include :

• Invoice customers in accordance with contractual agreements and billing schedules
• Complete billing processes in boundary systems and interface data into ERP system
• Process credit and debit memos in an accurate and timely manner
• Generate on-demand invoices and adjustments ensuring they are approved in concordance to Paramount OAR (Operating Approval Requirements)
• Conduct thorough monthly billing reconciliations to ensure accuracy and generate metrics to identify trends and support financial reporting
• Address and resolve customer disputes and issues by collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify root cause and implement effective solutions for customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate and organized records of client invoices, adjustments, and communications
• Obtain necessary documentation for audit requests and facilitate efficient audit processes
• Identify and recommend improvements to billing processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with finance team to verify and ensure accurate GL entries related to billing transactions
• Fulfill ad hoc requests to support various OTC needs and initiatives
