The Warehouse Associate I will be responsible for performing administrative and physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Strong attention to detail, communication, adaptability, and a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment are skills that will support a high level of success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Read customer orders accurately to identify part number, quantity ordered, and location.
- Locate and select specific inventory items to fulfill orders.
- Visually inspect orders to ensure accuracy prior to shipping.
- Responsible for loading and off-loading of trucks.
- Maintain proper inventory control.
- Use 5s methodology to help maintain assigned functional area.
- Follow procedures to safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Review functional area summary reports for daily activity requirements.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse/inventory control experience
- Demonstrated ability to count accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work across a variety of departments
- Organized and motivated team player
- Problem solving skills
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and instructions
- Self-motivated individual with strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word, experience with Microsoft Outlook and Teams preferred
- Previous experience with a RF Scanner
Bonus Skills and Experience
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, electric pallet jack, and manual pallet jack
- Experience working with an ERP system

- This position will be subject to mostly controlled but potential varying internal environmental conditions, including changes in temperature and noise that are within acceptable safety levels common to a warehouse environment.
- Work may involve long-term standing, sitting and frequent walking throughout areas such as warehouse, assembly or machine shop as well as navigating common hazards related to these areas.
- Must have visual acuity for viewing a computer screen, the ability to talk, and hear.
- Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must have the ability to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk.
- Weekend and overtime work may be required.
- Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
- While COVID-19 precautions are in effect, this role may require use of face masks/face coverings and gloves while working in our facilities.
