Local, family owned and Greensboro, NC based development company is seeking a qualified candidate for Jan 2025 job opening.
With more than 30 years of commercial development and management experience, and vertically integrated with a full construction division we are one of the area's most experienced commercial developers. With an eye for emerging trends in the market, PARC we have sold our retail operations segment, and expanded to include a greater focus on multi-family residential development.
Job essential info:
1. Applicant must have experience in multi-family apartments
2. Skills necessary- knowledge of MF framing process, post-tensioned slabs, driving loader, MEP and elevators.
3. Schedule adherence
4. Management- Mentor Finish Super and hold accountable to their job duties.
5. Quality Control- Maintain high standards for level of finish through all process of construction.
6. Safety- 10- hour safety training minimum. Daily inspections and follow Safety Manual for proper subcontractor notifications.
7. PROCORE knowledge a plus but training will be implemented if not already familiar with project management software.
8. Daily paperwork consistent with typical project documentation will be uploaded to PROCORE.
9. Asst Superintendent with subcontractor supervision- pre-con meetings, safety meetings, schedule meetings.
10. Daily Reports with pictures, description of activities, manpower and notable achievements.
11. Subcontractor coordination on a daily basis, constant interaction to recognize and ensure positive daily production.
12. Help manage Division I costs to keep within budget.
13. Communicate with upper management when costs or schedule changes are forecasted.
14. Review submittals for field implementation.
15. Submit RFI’s as necessary for drawing or constructability clarification.
16. Confirm all products and materials meet specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
17. Review invoices and draws for cost vs. completion of work.
18. Schedule inspections and prepares for positive inspection approvals.
19. Represents Contractor and Owner in the best professional manner possible.
