Job Summary :
The Activity Specialist at Parc Provence is responsible for the implementation of the daily activity program and helping residents participate in life activities. The Activity Specialist also represents Parc Provence to the residents, their guests, families, and the community.
Responsibilities :
Plan or assist in conducting activities and participate in activities with residents.
Set up and cleanup of specific activity area, putting all supplies in assigned areas.
Transport residents to and from activities.
Follow daily assignment sheets and observe residents during activities.
Support the memory care team and assist in maintaining the well-being of the residents.
Assist with individualized activity-based programs.
Serve meals and assist with feeding residents according to established practice.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications :
Heartfelt approach to caring for the elderly
Experience in working with Alzheimer’s or dementia a plus
Ability to provide outstanding customer service, be professional, friendly and compassionate at all times
