What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Sales Coordinator position at Pardini's Catering?
The Catering Sales Coordinator must possess a passion for special event coordination, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional and be able to build relationships with clients, vendors, and fellow team members.
.Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in catering sales and/or event planning.
- College Degree
- Proficiency in Caterease Software and Microsoft Excel a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Must consistently develop leads and effectively turn those leads into signed contracts for services.- Determine final pricing, prepare contracts, and secure customer signatures.
- Ensure the process for securing a date and collecting final payment is adhered to.
- Document final arrangements with clients on the contract. Obtain all specifications and pertinent information concerning the function, including but not limited to, guaranteed number attending, menu, room set up, etc.
- Regularly review upcoming contracts and have thorough understanding of all requirements on upcoming scheduled group functions.
- Assist in the preparation and completion of an accurate bill to the customer at the completion of the function and collect final payment. If another payment arrangement has been made, have the terms noted on the bill.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Be knowledgeable of all company policies and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
