Truck Parts Service Counter Parts Specialist

Fast paced truck maintenance shop in Sewell, NJ is seeking a reliable, motivated Parts Specialists who enjoys working within a fast-paced commercial vehicle diesel shop along with parts sales. Qualified applicants should be able to work directly with technicians and as well processing orders. Additionally, qualified applicants must possess excellent customer service phone skills, excellent organizational skills and a willingness to learn.

Candidates must be able to lift packages up to and exceeding 30 lbs. and able to walk up and downstairs as well as use a computer (Internet, parts look-up).

Duties Include:

Understanding shop technicians orders and placing all parts orders as necessary, listening, identifying parts, clarifying requests
Assist shop technicians by retrieving and ordering parts for existing work orders
Follow-up on backorder parts and communicate delivery dates of incoming parts
Putting complete orders into a computer system for inventory and sales account accuracy
Stock receiving, unpacking, placing items in correct marked area for future disbursement
Receiving returned item by inspecting, repacking, return damaged items to the supplier
Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards
Truck part, technician or warehouse experience desired but not necessary

Work Location: 1 Location, Sewell

Requirements:

Customer Service experience – 1 year
Truck / Diesel parts experience – 1 year
RepairShopr – experience desired but not necessary
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Drivers License
