Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and social interaction among children.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing appropriate classroom management techniques.
- Provide care for infants and young children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Engage with children in play-based learning activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and incidents as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma is required
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when necessary.
- Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
