Parent Child Development, a leader in Early Childhood Education, West Point VA, is seeking qualified candidates that are collaborative, dependable, and creative in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Primary Caregiver to implement the classroom curriculum
Implement effective classroom management techniques that reflect the agencies adopted social and emotional intelligence program, Conscious Discipline
Willing and able to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the center’s philosophy regarding child choice, active learning, and social/emotional development.
Provide direct supervision of the children in the classroom and playground at all times.
Monitor and document child progress in meeting developmental milestones and program goals, in accordance with program assessment criteria and procedures, as instructed by the primary caregiver
Maintain well-organized and clean learning environments, storage area, kitchen and bathrooms.
Follow health and safety procedures in classroom, playground, and on field trips (if applicable).
Serve meals and snacks to children in accordance with program health standards, and USDA and licensing guidelines.
Requirements: Must have a CDA (Child Development Associates) or equivalent coursework in Early Childhood Development with a focus on Infant & Toddler Education.

Pay: $13.00 - $18.10 per hour
