The Salesforce Architect will manage the CRM's lifecycle and coordinate projects and initiatives that support Pareto's growth and retention goals. Working with diverse stakeholders including management, IT, finance, internal users, and external consultants, the Architect will be responsible for recommending the best solution given the requirements and be able to articulate the decision process and tradeoffs that lead to that recommendation. The position requires a strong commitment to Pareto's values as well as a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and its own core values. The Salesforce Architect will be expected to propose innovative solutions to new and existing challenges both within the CRM and between other internal / external entities that connect to Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and own the underlying structure and data architecture of the Salesforce org, including ensuring that data structures support the reporting and analytics needs of management.
- Develop and oversee the architecture of scalable and robust Salesforce solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and data tools.
- Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, governance policies, and best practices to ensure system quality and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Salesforce solutions, optimizing for speed, scalability, and usability.
- Oversee the development and customization of Salesforce features, such as custom objects, Lightning components, and Apex code.
- Identify, procure, and manage third party tools and plugins that enhance the org's functionality.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, releases, and emerging technologies to recommend and implement enhancements.
- Adhere to best practices for design, security, and compliance.
- Build and maintain the devops pipeline using DevOps Center.
- Proactively look for areas of improvement and provide value-added advice and insight on CRM usage and future directions.
