Job Summary and Qualifications
Experience : Preferred experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist.
Education : Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Biological, Chemical, or Physical Science. Nursing Degrees with necessary CLIA courses will also be considered. Preferred : Bachelor’s Degree specifically in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science.
Certification : Required : Successful completion of certification within 12 months of hire for those who were hired on or after January 1, 2005. Continuing education to maintain certification is required. AMT and ASCP accepted. Preferred : Certification in a specialty area is a plus.
