Job Summary and Qualifications
We seek an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Float Pool team. As a member of our clinical support team, you will provide high-quality patient care across various units, including ICU, Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and Behavioral Health. Your primary function will be to educate patients and their families on their health conditions and treatment plans.
- You will administer medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Our nursing team utilizes computerized documentation systems to record and communicate patient conditions.
- You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Need To Succeed
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or has a Compact license.
- Minimum three years of acute care experience with demonstrated competency in several specialty areas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
