Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Operate the Toast POS system efficiently to process orders and handle transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in a café, grocery store, or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong commitment to food safety practices and customer service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
