Job Summary:
Paris Baguette is seeking a motivated and reliable Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in the daily operations of our bakery-café. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Store Operations: Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Team Supervision: Help recruit, train, and manage staff. Provide leadership in the absence of the Store Manager and ensure team members are performing at their best.
- Customer Service: Ensure that every customer has a positive experience by addressing their needs and concerns. Assist in maintaining the quality and presentation of products.
- Sales & Reporting: Assist in monitoring sales performance, managing cash handling, and completing daily financial reports.
- Inventory Control: Help manage inventory levels, place orders, and minimize waste.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and local laws.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in retail, food service, or a related field, with some supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Personal Traits: Customer-focused, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Eager to learn and grow within the company.
