About This Position
Position Purpose Summary: Perform necessary freezer warehouse duties to ensure product is moved, stored, and shipped safety and efficiently.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Food Safety and GMP Policies
- Unload materials from containers or OTR trailers
- Ensure product is safely put away in correct locations
- Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse/freezer (restack, sweep and shovel)
- Assist Associate II and Coordinators as needed.
- Daily inspection of your equipment
- Conduct physical inventories

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Broad knowledge and experience in forklift operations
- Above average skills in attendance
- Excellent skills in communication; addition, subtraction; attention to details; sense of urgency; accuracy; time management and teamwork.
- General knowledge of forklift, pallet jack & reach truck
Education and Experience:
- Forklift training-preferred
- While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is required to stand, reach with arms and hands, stoop, crouch and lift more than 50 lbs. Vision abilities required by this job include color recognition and attention to detail. This job may require working a minimum of 10 hours per shift with the flexibility to extend working hours as required.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Extended periods of physical vibration and moderate to high noise levels are normal. Employee will be required to work in a cold environment that is approximately 40 degrees or lower.

Takes ownership of their role in the company’s GMP, Food Safety and Food Defense Programs by identifying and elevating any observations in violation of the policies.
