What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director Student Financial Aid position at Paris Junior College?
Responsibilities: This position will provide financial aid program/application counseling and guidance to student applicants and families both locally and at the off-campus technical center.
Qualifications: Applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree, Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of financial aid experience. Knowledge of Financial Aid systems required. Computer skills with Microsoft Office and automated software systems. Alpha numeric Filing system. Knowledge of Title IV Federal Financial Aid Programs. Ability to read and interpret Federal Regulations. Ability to write policy and procedure. Must relate well to students in need of financial assistance. Must have the ability to make public presentations. Must be able to work independently and make decisions regarding application of federal as well as PJC policy concerning financial aid.
Salary: The annual salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000.
Fringe Benefits: This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
