Field Service Technician

This position performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customers and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. This position requires traveling to customer locations.

Responsibilities include performing basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment to include diagnosing technical problems, replacing malfunction components, upgrading systems for efficiency, run equipment tests to ensure stability, create draft reports of performed processes, utilize vehicles and other tools safely, follow client's specifications on operating equipment, and adhere to the safety standards.

Continuous education by participating in Service EDUCATE Training programs are required for the development of skills and knowledge and maintain current knowledge of Kubota Equipment and allied products.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities (special tools provided by Service Dept.)
• Experience in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
• Experience with basic computer functions.
• Valid driver's license required. Medical card for DOT purposes will be required.
• Able to work overtime and on Saturdays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1-year related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Position required prolonged periods of standing and short periods of working in slightly awkward positions.
