PARTS COUNTER SALESPERSON

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team.

The Parts Counter Salesperson is the primary point of contact for customers seeking parts and accessories. This role involves assisting customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts, maintaining inventory, and delivering excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with parts inquiries and sales.

• Identify and recommend appropriate parts and accessories based on customer needs.

• Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain and organize parts inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping and stock levels.

• Collaborate with the service department to fulfill internal parts requests.

• Provide product knowledge and technical assistance to customers.

• Keep up-to-date on product lines, promotions, and parts catalogs.

• Ensure the parts area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.

• Handle customer payments and invoices accurately.

• Support other team members and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school is a plus.

• Previous experience in a parts counter sales role, preferably within the agricultural, construction, or automotive industry.

• Knowledge of Kubota equipment and parts is highly desirable.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and technical manuals.

• Proficient in using inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
