We are seeking a motivated and friendly Counter Person to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with precision.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food items are presented attractively.
• Maintain cleanliness at the counter and dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Manage time effectively during peak hours to maintain service quality.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction handling.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with upselling techniques is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
