What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerk II - Receptionist position at paristexas.?
This is a non-supervisory position involving clerical work which includes, but is not limited to communicating, typing, word processing and other duties as assigned. This position reports directly to the City Clerk.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Duties include receptionist for the city hall annex, answering telephones, assisting citizens and contractors at the customer service window, assisting code enforcement with processing of certified mail letters, inputting data into MyGov., receiving and processing various permit applications for the Building Department, and back-up to the deputy city clerk. Complete other duties as assigned. Maintains a regular and predictable work schedule.
Qualifications
High school graduate. Must have two (2) years of experience in the clerical field. Must have work experience in the use of personal computers, including Microsoft Office 365, excel spreadsheet and general office equipment, excellent telephone and communication skills required. Honesty, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential for this position. Must be able to perform all essential job functions.
