This position is responsible for taking meter readings throughout the City, changing out meters and initiating and closing out water service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Utilizes City vehicle to travel throughout the city to take meter readings. Installs and changes out water meters. Initiates and closes out water service. Maintains a regular and predictable work schedule.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and a valid class C driver’s license. Must perform the assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision. Must be able to perform the essential job functions which includes walking for most of the day in outdoor conditions.
