Property Manager for Homes and Apartments (Pierce County)
Park 52 Property Management & Real Estate Brokerage, is offering a great opportunity to join our team as a full-time Property Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of property management practices and manage both single family and small multifamily units in Pierce County. Being a family-owned business with 40 years of serving the Puget Sound, we are seeking a team member with a positive attitude, exceptional customer service abilities and a drive to succeed.
The main responsibilities of a Property Manager include:
· Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with owners, tenants, and vendors
· Conduct property showings with prospective tenants
· Perform interior surveys
· Maintain consistent communication with owners
· Oversee property turns
· Coordinate with the maintenance department to manage work orders
· Complete move-in lease transactions and move-out security deposit reports
· Complete weekly and monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner
· Assist with legal process for non-compliant residents in accordance with court orders and directions from legal counsel and company leadership.
· Park 52 cross trains all employees to gain an understanding of each department to be able to assist as needed.
Skills and Experience:
· Prior property management experience and/or assistant management
· Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and legal requirements
· Proficiency with general office software, including Google, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
· Well-rounded apartment management skill set
· AppFolio Property Manager experience preferred
· A ‘people person’ with exceptional customer service skills
· Maintain a positive, professional, and client-focused attitude toward the company when interacting with coworkers, residents, vendor partners, and the public, whether through mail, phone, or in-person communication.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels
· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
· Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and demands
· Ability to pass a background and reference check
Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license and insurance with reliable transportation
· Have or be in the process of obtaining a Washington State Real Estate License
