Job Summary
As a Design Consultant, you will work directly with clients and trade partners to provide expert guidance on window treatment solutions. This role involves conducting in-home consultations, building strong relationships with interior designers, custom home builders, and other industry professionals, and managing projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home design consultations, assessing clients' needs and providing expert recommendations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with interior designers, custom home builders, and other trade partners to generate sales opportunities.
- Manage projects from start to finish, including measuring, designing, quoting, ordering, and ensuring smooth project execution.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and installation process, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and design best practices.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in the window covering industry or a strongly related field (interior design, home furnishings, home improvement sales, etc.).
- Proven sales ability with a strong track record of closing deals and meeting sales goals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage clients and industry partners.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of client projects from consultation to completion.
- Proficiency in design software, CRM tools, or quoting systems is a plus.
