JOB SUMMARY
Park City Ice Arena is seeking a Part Time motivated and detail-oriented Rink Operations Assistant to join the Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors to the facility. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in hands-on roles and are looking to make a positive impact within the community.
TYPICAL JOB DUTIES
- Assist the operations team in daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring all areas of the facility are well-kept and functional.
- Perform routine inspections of public and private areas, identifying and reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
- Help with the organization of equipment and supplies, keeping inventory levels up to date.
- Assure the cleanliness and sanitation of bathrooms, locker rooms, and common areas to provide a positive experience for visitors.
- Engage in proactive communication with team members regarding cleaning schedules and needs.
- Collaborate with the operations team to maintain ice quality, including monitoring temperature and surface conditions.
- Participate in safety and compliance training as required, promoting a culture of safety within the facility.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 Years of rink Operations experience
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or operate objects, controls, or tools.
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 15 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work is performed in cold climate with periods of walking and standing. May involve extended periods of standing and using a tools and other mechanical equipment.
