Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Effectively share the heart of Park Community by creating impactful storytelling content across various platforms, including social media posts, blogs, newsletter articles, video content, podcast scripting, internal communications, website content, ad copy, email copy, and more. Lead or assist in capturing content in different mediums, such as photography and videography, during events to ensure authentic and engaging storytelling. Ensure all content is compelling, compliant, and relevant on a daily basis. Serve as a positive ambassador for the credit union, projecting the brand voice in all communications and interactions, including social media, review responses, and other written or verbal exchanges. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Learning and Development, Lending, Operations, and Retail, to create content that resonates with the community and strengthens connections between members and Park.
- Provide social media expertise, navigating through the rapidly changing social and regulatory environment of social media and digital marketing. Manage and optimize company pages within each social media platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content. Manage company Google Business Pages, maintaining correct information and updates and promptly responding to member reviews and inquiries. Stay up to date on trends, and track and monitor social media analytics, Google Analytics, and social and Google reviews, reporting weekly and monthly on social growth and engagement. Actively monitor the state of social media, local and competitor updates, and community and member conversations and reviews to ensure the Park brand is fresh and relevant throughout its digital footprint. Maintain knowledge of critical updates related to social media.
- Build and execute social media strategy highlighting our story. Create calendars to manage content and plan specific, timely posts and campaigns. Manage requests for special social media posts, including weather closures or other short notice request.
- Curate internal communications that share the brand and member stories with employees, building internal excitement and support of the Park initiatives. Work with internal teams to create content that will spark interest and intrigue and provide information to the most possible employees in ways that they can easily consume this information.
- Assist with other marketing initiatives providing assistance and expertise as requested or assigned.
Experience One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
Interpersonal Skills Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Other Skills Creative writing and knowledge of target marketing required. Must possess graphic design skills. Must possess organizational and analytical skills; must be able to coordinate a variety of projects. Must possess PC skills and be able to run spreadsheets, word processing, and publishing software as well as other general office equipment. Excellent communication skills.
