Job Description:
This role will be supporting the Hardware Inventory Management and Order Fulfillment Operations Team, covering capital equipment and accessories for a large volume industry leading hardware manufacturing company.
Below are some key tasks and responsibilities, covering this role that are performed on a daily or weekly basis:
Lead efforts to coordinate with Management on inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.
Responsible for managing daily inventory transactions; goods receipts and outgoing shipments to suppliers.
Provide and support several types of reports and KPI s as it relates to inventory management activities.
Constant communication with key stakeholders and management.
Understand, communicate and track gaps in inventory processes and transactions.
Must possess strong customer service skills, demonstrate good judgement, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that can properly collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Research inconsistencies around inventory discrepancies and facilitate any non-conforming receipts.
Ability to work independently toward defined goals and maintain procurement goals at the highest level
Attention to details is a must
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with advanced ERP systems. SAP is preferred.
10 years experience with Inventory management.
Clear understanding of ISO and SOX requirements.
Fluent in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and ERP Reporting.
Communicates effortlessly and efficiently at all levels
Ability to adapt quickly (think outside of the box), problem solve and provide input on process and procedure enhancements.
Previous work history with offsite inventory storage and 3PL storage is a plus.
