Location: Mountain View, CA - ONSITE
Duration: 06 Months Contract (Initially, the work will be 20 hours per week for the first 2 months and then 40 hours per week for the next 4 months).
Job Description:
- Responsible for planning, organizing, writing and editing operational, maintenance or test procedure manuals.
- Researches engineering schematics, technical design specifications, interface design, design diagrams and test specifications with design engineers.
- Helps coordinate the layout and manual organization.
- Acquires and organizes basic source material, including applicable specifications, engineering write ups, and drawing packages.
- Expected to apply technical writing/editing to projects with little guidance, and implement these independently.
- Writes or edits small to medium sized product features, operation, maintenance or test procedure documentation of moderate complexity.
- Works with other writers or editors, managers, and engineers across product teams.
- Sets task-level goals and consistently meet schedules.
