- This resource will manage paid sponsorships and events as projects for the Innovation team, with responsibility for all phases of contracting from solicitation to award negotiation, and ensuring timely invoicing and receipt of contracted deliverables for the duration of the contract.
Skills are needed
- Contract management experience processing and facilitating sponsorship contracts and other partnership agreements
- Expertise in basic project management techniques and practices with ability to manage contractor schedules, deliverable reporting, and invoicing for timely execution
- Organizational and technical writing ability to assemble reports for Innovation teams based on contracted deliverables received
- Conversational familiarity with current technology and technology trends in renewable energy, clean transportation and buildings, the power grid, etc.
- Expertise in Office products (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), and shared file systems
Specialized skills
Candidates with specialized skills and demonstrated experience in the following areas are preferred:
- Familiarity with Client contract and project management systems and processes
- Experience with competitive procurement processes
Certifications and qualifications, including education/degree
- A combination of education and experience is acceptable; a variety of educational backgrounds may be successful in this role including: business administration, technical disciplines, sales, marketing, and business administration

Tasks
- Facilitate RFPs soliciting applicants for Client sponsorship;
- Facilitate scoring reviews, award processes, and contracting;
- Negotiate contract deliverables and schedules;
- Process contract awards through Client systems;
- Manage contractor execution, approve deliverables and invoices;
- Assemble reports of contracted deliverables for Innovation staff;
- Interface with contracted outside teams and facilitate communication between them and Client program groups;
- Assist the Innovation Partnerships team in planning meetings and stakeholder events; and
- Other duties as assigned that contribute to key outcomes of the Innovation Partnerships team

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
