Our team members specialize in serving our clients by successfully delivering permitting and citizen engagement software solutions that improve internal operations and decision making, manage new services, and enhance customer service to their constituents.

ROLE

As a Business Intelligence Reports Developer (SSRS / SQL), you will be a valuable client-partnering team member on various projects to understand forms and report requirements and requests, create and develop visually appealing and data-rich forms and reports, document specifications and track development progress, ensure data accuracy and reliability, and troubleshoot and resolve forms and report issues and enhancement requests. You will work closely with internal team members and client subject matter experts across multiple client projects. A successful candidate will need to be comfortable communicating with a broad range of team members and clients, fulfilling multiple project priorities and demands, producing high quality deliverables, and being highly responsive and productive in a virtual work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

MUST HAVE SSRS Development experience

Client Deliverables

Forms and Report Design and Development : Design, develop and maintain SSRS Reports and Forms that meet business requirements, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and aesthetics
Data Analysis : Work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate those needs into solutions
Data Integration : Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other repositories
Data Validation : Verify and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness in reports and forms
Optimization : Improve and optimize existing reports for performance and efficiency
Documentation : Document report design, development processes, and technical specifications
Quality Assurance : Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues in forms and reports
User Support : Provide walkthroughs and support to team members and clients of developed forms and reports
Stay Updated : Stay up-to-date with the latest SSRS and MS SQL features and best practices in report development

Project Administration and Communication

Update and monitor project task, action items, checklists, and ticket trackers

Manage notes, documentation and file organization in a standard and consistent manner

Respond and document client and vendor requests

Follow-up with open tasks and activities to completion

Communicate status and progress updates to project team, client, and vendor

Communicate resolution of tasks, requests, issues, enhancements, and deliverable status

Coordinate and facilitate meetings with project team, client and vendor as required

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience

MUST HAVE SSRS Reports and Forms Development experience

MS SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and database design

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality forms and reports

Strong communication and collaboration skills

This work will require evening and weekend work

Must be willing to commute to Irvine, CA, as needed

Maintain high degree of confidentiality for our work
