What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title I Teacher - Part-time position at Park County School District #1?
Provide direction and training for Title I programming at the elementary level. Provide skill assessment and developmental instruction/remediation instruction in reading to students.
Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S. Degree
Qualified for a Standard Teaching Certificate as issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an Elementary Education
Demonstrate ability to administer programming for a Title I program
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with teachers, and relate to elementary students of different age/ability levels and with varying needs
Demonstrated competence in the application and use of [1] various reading diagnostic techniques and processes and [2] various developmental/remedial instruction techniques and processes
Successful experience and a demonstrated understanding of Title I programs, regulations, and compliance requirements desirable
Self-directed, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
Team oriented; history of professional growth; demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of personalities and settings
Experience and/or training in performance standard and familiarity with standards-based education preferred
Knowledge of Professional Learning Communities (PLC)
Salary: District Salary Schedule (2024-2025 Base = $39,220.00 .74 FTE)
Employment Term: Full-time – 185-day contract (29.5 hours per week)
Beginning Date: 2025-2026 reporting date for new staff – August 14, 2025 (with training before this date)
Closing Date: March 1, 2025 or until filled
