Under the direction of the Golf Operations Manager, the Golf Range & Cart Attendant Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all members, guests, and staff while upholding the club's operating standards in a professional and courteous manner. This role includes training golf range and cart attendants, maintaining the golf cart fleet, assisting with driving range operations, and supporting daily golf operations at Sunset Valley Golf Club and Highland Park Golf Learning Center.

Essential Job Duties
Include, but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Customer Service:
• Provide excellent customer service to all members, guests, and staff.
• Greet patrons professionally and assist with any questions, concerns, or needs.
• Be familiar with and enforce Sunset Valley Golf Club’s rules, regulations, and programs.
• Maintain knowledge of course details (length, slope, rating, etc.)
• Assist with security and ensure the safety of patrons and facilities.
Golf Cart & Driving Range Operations:
• Oversee the golf cart fleet, ensuring carts are cleaned, fueled/powered, and properly staged.
• Load and unload golf bags for patrons.
• Maintain the cart staging area with necessary supplies (scorecards, pencils, seed bottles).
• Establish a cart rotation system and perform weekly maintenance checks.
• Operate equipment safely to pick up and clean range balls.
• Keep the driving range clean, including collecting baskets and ensuring balls are properly cleaned.
Facility & Event Support:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart barn, clubhouse, and patio.
• Assist with golf shop inventory maintenance and restocking
• Support league preparation, special events, and party setups.
• Ensure patrons start at their designated tee times by coordinating with the Starter and Outside Services Staff.
• Perform routine office support functions and maintain the facility’s appearance.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in a golf course, club, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred but not required. Preferred knowledge and understanding of the game of golf. Willingness and ability to exhibit a professional and polite appearance at all times. Strong organizational skills. Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
Wage Range: $15.50-$21.00 per hour
Classification: Seasonal, non-exempt

Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
