Southgate Recreation & Park District is seeking a talented professional to fill the role of their Communication and Media Officer. Under general direction from the General Manager, performs professional work in the development and direction of a variety of activities designed to meet the needs and interests of the community and performs professional marketing, publications, and community relations work. Duties include :
- Professional writing
- Market analysis
- Planning and promotion of activities
- Producing and distributing quality promotional materials
- Contract administration
- Program development and analysis
- Grant writing
- Managing special projects
- Attending public meetings and making written and oral presentations
